ANO Informatsionnaya kultura aims to extend ideology of open data and to increase the information culture of society. The organization is also engaged in educational activity, carries out schools of open data and acts as the curator and the adviser according to open data in different projects, is engaged in digital archiving, supports projects on the basis of open data and open source.

One of activities of our organization – digital archiving – preserving of archives, libraries, websites and other forms information and knowledge in electronic form. It it is necessary, first of all, to save the memory of objects of historical and cultural heritage and also to leave digital certificates which have the public importance, but can disappear at any time. In particular, now we create "The national chronicle rossiysko-the Cuban friendship". For creation of this archive we were going to digitize about 33,000 pages of documents which for April, 2020 exist only in paper form and earlier were not placed online for the general access. About 5000 pages are already digitized, speaks the manager of projects of ANO Infokultura Christina Kazakova

Before acquisition Elarskan in the organization there was no own planetary scanner and employees had to address third parties that complicated process, both in the financial plan, and in respect of the processing speed of documents, note in ANO Informatsionnaya kultura.

We are happy with quality of the received electronic copies and a possibility of scanning of documents of a different format, - using the ELAR scanner we can digitize books, photos, newspaper cuttings, white papers and also we have an opportunity to edit documents using special software.
