Task

The customer needed to create a modern, convenient site that allows not only to purchase tickets for performances, but also to act as an information platform to familiarize himself with the history of the festival.

History

International Theater Festival. A.P. Chekhov is held once every 2 years in Moscow. As part of the festival, performances from all over the world are shown. The festival has been held since 1992. Over the years of the festival, a huge amount of content has accumulated, which existed in the form of a disparate dataset with a missing structure. In this regard, one of the parallel tasks solved was the need to systematize all these materials, creating a clear structure that will be convenient for study and management.

Stand out from others

Based on the customer's corporate identity, it was decided to create not an "art" site, but a rather strict, concise solution that allows you to focus on content. At the same time, a creative presentation was developed for key pages. Another distinctive feature of the site section is "Festival Guests." The section is intended for users who come to the festival from other cities. The section is equipped with an interactive map that displays the main attractions of Moscow, hotels and other useful places.

Development

The most important functionality created for the site is the developed integration layer, which ensures the connection of the site with the ticket buying service. A multilingual version of the site was also developed.

Content

The longest stage of the project was the content filling stage. Almost all materials were filled out manually on the site, since on the old site each page was made up separately. In order to prevent this in the future, training was conducted for the responsible employees of the customer.

Results

At the end of the project, the customer received a full-fledged working product with a modern design and a convenient structure, which allows you to quickly and conveniently familiarize yourself with all information materials on the site.
