2025: Start of transition to "1C: Holding Management"
Korus Consulting Group began a project to update the architecture of accounting systems and processes of Inventive Retail Group, one of the retail operators in Russia. Korus Consulting announced this on October 3, 2025. The key goal is to move from the 1S:UPP solution, the support of which will be completed in 2027, and build a single financial platform for 11 legal entities of the group. The project includes the revision of the management and financial accounting methodology, process optimization and the formation of a targeted IT architecture. The implemented scalable and managed accounting model will support business development in the face of growing transaction volume and reporting requirements.
The current 1S:UPP solution covers not only the financial circuit, but also part of logistics, returns, acquiring and working with gift cards. The high degree of customization of the system makes it difficult to support and develop, and technical restrictions interfere with the implementation of new tasks. To transform the accounting architecture, Inventor Retail Group chose KORUS Consulting, an IT company with extensive expertise in retail and experience in implementing high-performance 1C solutions. Business expects to receive from the project an increase in the efficiency of the financial function: acceleration of the formation of management reporting, convergence of different types of accounting, strengthening control over payments. This system will become the center of financial management, and the approach to automating processes beyond this loop will be determined during the formation of a future IT architecture.
The target core is 1C: Holding Management. The decision is planned to automate management, regulated accounting and treasury. Special attention will be paid to the unification of reporting, transparency of closing procedures for reporting periods and automation of budget control and limiting processes.
The platform will integrated be with key IT company tools:, SAP ERP SAP BPC,,, 1C: Retail GSI E-DOCUMENT FLOW Retail CRM and others. An important area of the project will be the development of solutions to support omnicanal the movement of goods. KORUS Consulting experts will determine approaches to the implementation of transparent and detailed accounting of operations with, Marketplaces retail, B2B. Another vector of work is to ensure scalability and high performance of the future platform, as the system will handle a large amount of data and transactions.
The project will begin with a survey: the KORUS Consulting team, together with the customer, will determine the functional requirements for the platform, the target architecture and prepare an implementation roadmap. Next, the stages of modeling and technical implementation are assumed. In parallel, a management accounting methodology is being prepared. The launch of the system is scheduled for January 2027, during the period of peak demand in retail - this will require accurate planning and coordinated actions of the teams.
For us, this project is not just a transition from 1S:UPP to a new system, but an opportunity to rethink the group's financial model taking into account the scale and diversity of the business. We have chosen a partnership with a team that can combine technical expertise and a deep understanding of business processes in retail. We expect the platform to strengthen transparency, speed up management reporting and become a tool for maintaining sustainable growth of the company in the long term, "said Evgeny Temyakov, CFO of Inventive Retail Group.
The main feature of the project is a combination of three large-scale tasks: starting the system, transforming processes and introducing additional functionality. In a short time, we will have to revise important elements of the accounting architecture of the company, taking into account the capabilities of the IT product. The goal is to create a platform that will allow you to quickly make decisions based on accurate and timely data, - commented Tatyana Sulima, Director for Business Development of the 1C Department of KORUS Consulting Group.
The project in the Inventor Retail Group stands out for the scale of methodological changes. We combine 11 legal entities into a single financial system that should take into account the specifics of multi-brand retail - from premium electronics with a high service component, to children's goods stores with thousands of SKUs and seasonal peaks. The decision will bring the data to the general model and ensure control at the group level, preserving the necessary depth of analytics for each brand, - said Gennady Tarantasov, director of Retail practice at KORUS Consulting Group of Companies.
