2023: Testing the application "Udmurtia Transport"
IPOPAT begins testing a fare payment system in Izhevsk through the Udmurtia Transport mobile application. The project is being implemented jointly with the operator of the fare payment system in the region LLC TIS and Datapax. Passengers of bus routes No. 8 and No. 79 can be the first to assess the possibilities. Datapax announced this on June 20, 2023.
To pay for travel through the Udmurtia Transport mobile application, you must first install it on your smartphone, scan the QR code in the bus or, turning on Bluetooth and geolocation, select your route and pay for the trip, following the instructions. After payment, the application will form an electronic ticket, which must be presented at the request of the controller.
The implementation of this project is aimed at improving the comfort and quality of passenger traffic. Testing of this modern method of payment for travel takes place on two capacitless bus routes in Izhevsk. After all the processes are debugged, we plan to provide the opportunity to pay for travel through the Udmurtia Transport mobile application to passengers and other routes operating without a conductor, "said Ruslan Giniyatov, executive director of IPOPAT JSC. |
The Udmurtia Transport mobile application provides the user with information about all bus routes in the city. With the help of the digital service, the passenger will be able to see the schedule, track the movement of buses on the city map in real time, find out the predicted arrival time at the desired stop and, in general, plan his route optimally.
