JSC Instrument-making Plant VIBRATOR is leading enterprise of Russia in the field of instrument making. More than 80 years the plant develops and makes instrumentations and the equipment for industrial facilities.

Products of the enterprise well proved and are widely applied in all industries.

Now the enterprise releases devices for objects of a power complex, the nuclear industry and nuclear power, mechanical engineering. The plant cooperates with the enterprises of the metallurgical, oil, chemical, pulp-and-paper, food industry long ago and successfully. For many years the plant releases devices for the ship-building and railway industries and also for military industrial complex.

Clients of the plant are more than 700 enterprises of Russia and also the enterprise of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Moldova, Vietnam, Iran, India today.

Project Description

At the beginning of March, 2011 the Business of Technology company successfully completed the works on system implementation of management of discrete production. At the moment at the plant the following production modules Global system modules are successfully operated:

• Product data management;
• Management of an inventory control;
• Purchase management;
• Production planning;
• Operational production management;
• Management of instrumental economy;
• Document management;

As a result of implementation the Global System provided a software support of a complex of production processes – from production preparation, before post-production service, having integrated them in a common information space.

System implementation allowed to solve the most burning issues of production accounting:

• reduction of terms of order placement on implementation;
• providing with reliable information about the level of readiness of orders for implementation;
• improvement of a system of production planning;
• the organization of the advancing planning of release of PF and reduction of production time of orders;
• ensuring justification and transparency of procurement process at all its stages;
• minimization of stock balance and deficit of purchased products for order launch in production;
• creation of a single system of product data management, systematization of the stored electronic documents, ensuring the general access to them;
• reduction of number of paper copies of documents and reduction of time for reproduction and registration;
• ensuring safety of intellectual property of the enterprise;
• ensuring transparency of production process;
• possibility of operational identification of bottlenecks of production process;
• formation of statistical information on data of production accounting for the analysis of production process, identification of their dynamics for acceptance of adequate management decisions.

Today it is possible to claim that the Vibrator plant received the modern, flexible and reliable tool which will allow to optimize all production processes in the order, to increase labor productivity, and will also provide production with full information support in the conditions of significant growth and upgrade.

A system not only integrated more than 100 users in a common information space for input and data acquisition, but also allowed to organize operational, transparent, controlled interaction between them by means of formation of tasks and notifications.
