Description
JS Company — the professional distributor of tights, underwear and hosiery. The company has a branch network across Russia and also, delivers goods from a warehouse to external clients.
The warehouse economy of the company consists of a number of warehouses across Moscow, and warehouses of a branch network.
Tasks
The central warehouse of the company has the total area of 6000 sq.m. At the same time, in connection with the large volume of small-pieces selection, the main part of a warehouse is occupied by two two-storeyed mezzanines with shelf storage.
From features of a tovaroobrabotka it is possible to note the following:
- Accounting in an algoritmika of a tovaroobrabotka of such parameters of articles, as a brand, model, color, the size. Formation a pallet, placement and storage taking into account these parameters
- Specific transactions of acceptance with sorting according to parameters of articles
- Consolidation of goods in an expedition zone in the directions and along routes
- System implementation of Management of the Warehouse is made for the purpose of control and management of storage and the movement of goods, order processing, reduction of a cycle of selection of orders.

Solution
Goods acceptance
For the purpose of reduction of a cycle of acceptance, transactions were specially developed:
- Single-phase acceptance on group ShK of boxes
- Two-phase acceptance with sorting of goods in a sorting zone by roundabouts method
- Acceptance of returns with sorting according to boxes
- When sorting goods, a system is guided by goods quantities in arrival and the monopallet, and also "homogeneous" a pallet on model/colour and separate a pallet for mezzanine zones manages formation.
In business process of placement of goods on the mezzanine the principle of grouping of goods on model in the center of mass of model, and also the principle of not mixing and not arrangement of similar goods in the next cells is applied.
Selection and consolidation in an expedition zone
In selection process of goods on each box the unique label with the barcode and information on the consignee is glued (a system calculates the necessary number of labels in advance and prints them for the selector).
From different zones of selection the goods are consolidated in an expedition zone.
In a zone of an expedition preliminary sorting of orders according to directions/types of clients then, sampling inspection of orders/boxes is possible is made.
For certain order types, at receipt from ERP of data on routing, consolidation of boxes of orders along routes is executed. Thus, preparation for loading is performed.
When loading by pallets, a system controls loading of each pallet, when loading by boxes – each box by the individual shipping label of a box.
