Historically, the marketplace infrastructure was located in the clouds of several. At providers some point, the company faced difficulties in scaling the existing infrastructure and maintaining its high availability. | Marketplace "Jerk" is a complex product. At some point, we were faced with serious inconveniences in maintaining the existing infrastructure. Namely, with the difficulty of scaling, deploying new services, managing them, ensuring product reliability and resource availability. All these problems could be solved by migrating the marketplace to the cloud. We imagined an ideal architecture, in our opinion, and set about finding a supplier. We have considered several options. As a result, we decided to migrate to the MWS cloud. First of all, this was influenced by the number of data centers of the company, the level of their availability, the possibility of organizing a fault-tolerant site, as well as the examination of employees. After the completion of the migration to the cloud, all the inconveniences associated with maintaining the local IT infrastructure were eliminated, "said Alexey Alekhin, IT Director at Ryvok. |
