Project Task
The project on automation of managerial and production accounting in Kamazavtotekhnika LLC was initiated for the purpose of increase in enterprise performance for the account:
- Accelerations of collecting of necessary information for acceptance of management decisions and, as a result, reduction of time between an event and reaction to it;
- Reduction of risk of errors in management decisions because of insufficient relevance, reliability, accuracy of information on a status of the enterprise;
- Operating control of key processes (productions, cash flow, materials, etc.);
- Simplifications of vendor relationship management regarding requirements for delivery dates, quality of materials, payment terms, delivery conditions;
- Decrease in labor input of formation:
- reports about debit / accounts payable;
- acts of reconciliations of settlings with partners;
- status reports on checking accounts.
Need of transition from an outdated management system to more modern platform which would meet performance requirements, integration and efficiency of providing updates was important premises of a project startup also.
The management system used by Kamazavtotekhnika LLC any more was not supported by the producer and had functional restrictions on transfer on more modern IT infrastructure that noticeably affected system operation speed.
Solution
When choosing the platform of automation by the customer the careful analysis of systems which are available in the market which revealed that in the best way to tasks of production management of Kamazavtotekhnika LLC there corresponds the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" was carried out. For the choice of the partner in implementation the tender which winner was a Microtest company having wealth of experience in implementation of similar projects was held.
At the beginning of the project on production management system implementation specialists Microtest transferred all reference books and specifications necessary to start work that allowed to accelerate considerably process of input of a new solution in operation.
The solution implemented during the project allowed Kamazavtotekhnika LLC to automate the following tasks:
- Operational planning and production management;
- Production volume scheduling;
- Cost accounting and cost accounting of products;
- Fixed asset accounting;>
- Management of finance;
- Purchase management and warehouse stocks;
- Sales management.
One of the important tasks implemented in a new solution is the possibility of volume scheduling of production which allowed Kamazavtotekhnika LLC, on the one hand, on the basis of plans of parent organization of the KAMAZ Group to create the production plans with different detailing, on the other hand, quickly to include in the plan the current orders arriving from third-party customers. Thus, Kamazavtotekhnika LLC was received by the instrument of effective planning of loading of the production capacities.
The main stages of the project became: a system design, development and system testing, direct implementing solution, constructed based on the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 configuration, and its delivery in commercial operation. All works provided by the project were executed in 9 months.
The achieved result
As the main project deliverables it is possible to note such achievements as:
- Saving of time of heads for reportings and decrease in labor input of formation of documents;
- Economy of costs for integration with business and tax accounting systems on the basis of 1C due to use of a single platform;
- Elimination of considerable costs for support of an outdated system at the expense of a covering of its functionality the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8";
- Lack of failures of a system and, respectively, elimination of time expenditure and money owing to idle times;
The possibility of operational reproduction planning within only several minutes (instead of several hours spent earlier) became an important project deliverable that allowed Kamazavtotekhnika LLC to react quicker to requests of clients, thereby having increased their loyalty and having increased the number of the processed orders.
Besides, important qualitative indexes which allowed the customer to estimate effective management of the company in real time were reached and to quickly adjust a deviation from the expected results:
- Availability of information on marginal income on products;
- Availability of information on the actual loading of production;
- Support of all product lifecycle;
- Quality improvement and planning accuracy;
- Increase in accuracy of planning
- Increase in efficiency of control of idle times and failures;
- Increase in accuracy of the information about readiness of the equipment;
- Increase in efficiency of the choice of suppliers according to qualifying standards.
