TechnologiCS platform implemented at Kazan Electrotechnical Plant

UltimaTek has completed the project of introducing a production management platform at the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant (KATZ). The Russian digital platform TechnologiCS was chosen for installation. UltimaTek announced this on June 5, 2024.

The project provides for three levels of process automation: warehouse management, integration with accounting, design and production preparation and operational production management with a planning module. Since CATZ previously used its own databases and available planning tools, the introduction of TechnologiCS was one of the first steps in the digitalization of production.

Now our full-fledged PLM system has been successfully put into operation, and I am sure that at the end of the year we will be able to assess our progress and contribution to future development based on reliable data on the operation of the plant obtained from the TechnologiCS system, - said Vitaly Vetsin, General Director of the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant. }}

The introduction of a digital platform will allow the plant to increase the efficiency of using production facilities, ensure complete transparency and control of production in real time, as well as automate planning processes.

In the future, the companies plan to develop joint work: in addition to scaling the experience gained to other production sites, it is planned to digitalize the process of obtaining work orders by employees and the workplace (paper form is now used), as well as the introduction of IIoT at the enterprise in terms of monitoring the operation of equipment.
