Kirskabel continues the project of upgrade of production management

The Ukrainian company "Information technologies", forces of staff of the central office and Ural branch, completed the project on ERP system implementation "IT Enterprise" of version 9 at the "Kirsinsky cable plant" which is engaged in release of cable and conduction products.

A system "IT Enterprise" of version 4 was implemented at the enterprise in 1994-96 and was used for management of material and financial flows, sales management, planning and accounting of production, calculation and the cost accounting, accounting. After twelve years' commercial operation of a system the plant made the decision on transition to the modern 9th version of a system with simultaneous review of business enterprise management processes and preparation for implementation of a MES system.

At the end of 2006 technical requirements to a system were approved and the plan of transfer to the new version is developed. Since the beginning of 2007 the ERP system was put into commercial operation.

Along with commissioning preparation for implementation of problems of intra shop operational production management is executed (MES system module "IT Enterprise"). For this purpose the technical department of the plant created the database of all operational technology production processes of cable and conduction products with detailing to work centers, alternative routes, step-by-step regulations of time, consumption rates of materials and development of waste, time of readjustments and preparatory and final transactions, time of a material transfer and semi-finished products between work centers.

According to the Chief information officer Kirskabel Alexander Trukhin, on the next stage integration of the ERP system into the application for sales management which functions in trading house and management company will be carried out.

2007 - 2009: Project retrospective

From May, 2007 to March, 2008 on JSC Kirskabel the implementation project MES- the module ERP- a system IT-Enterprise, including solving of tasks of operational intra shop optimal scheduling of production according to standards is executed MES and APS. According to the approved diagram since December, 2007 operation of a system in workshops is begun.

2007: Task "sale-production-purchase"

The executed solutions

• The detailed business process model of enterprise management on sales management, by production, purchases, to advance planning of production is developed
• The integrated solution "sale-production-purchase" is implemented the method of APS planning of a window of a promise of delivery date of the order to the client is implemented
• Transition from job order shop production planning to problems of intra shop planning of items of equipment, implementation MES- system module is executed IT-Enterprise
• The system of daily reproduction planning and purchases is adjusted
• Proceeding from directive terms of shipment of orders, decrease in production costs, the current and planned production situation functional inspection of passing of the order through production is adjusted
• Accounting of production of semi-finished products on each repartition using technologies of barcoding is adjusted.

2008: Budgeting development

In April, 2008 the project of automation of budgeting and calculation by a technique of Activity Based Costing is begun.

Main objectives of the project

• implementation of the process approach in calculation, ensuring management with exact and correct information on cost value for acceptance of effective management decisions in the field of price policy, commodity strategy, etc.
• the cost management including planning of estimates and budgets and also the automated control of their execution

Personnel management and calculations

From September, 2008 to March, 2009 implementation of the modules "Staff List", "Personnel management", "Time keeping", "Payroll accounting", "Price-work Salary" of a circuit Personnel management was executed. Personnel training of the enterprise is provided, configuring and input in commercial operation of all delivered modules is executed.

2013: Upgrade on the basis of the new version of software

In March, 2013 the plant's management made the decision on upgrade of a corporate system IT Enterprise 9.12 and with simultaneous review of business management processes of JSC Kirskabel, the press service of the company integrator reported on September 2, 2013.
