September 28, 2015. The Tornado Modular Systems company announced implementation of the industrial computer IPC Gridex in the Krasnodar combined heat and power plant.

The turned-out bezventilyatorny computer considers all features and specifics of management systems of the industrial and power enterprises, meets the most modern standards and technical regulations and is capable uninterruptedly (in the mode 24 hours a day / 7 days a week) to work in the most difficult conditions within not less than 12 years without the need for periodic maintenance.

Among features of the industrial computers IPC GRIDEX, revolutionary for devices of this class, it is possible to note that it is focused on work on the high-speed Ethernet networks (In the Tornado software and hardware complexes which developer is also MST company, IPC GRIDEX computers (or their redundant pairs) perform functions of "virtual controllers" that allows to exclude controllers in the form of specialized chastnofirmenny devices, having fixed thereby a set of problems and restrictions, to inherent modern automation systems.

Modules of input-output Mirage-N which are a basis for obtaining information from an object and impact on it and also industrial computers in composition are connected in the peer-to-peer Ethernet duplicated a set on 100 megabits (the IEC standard 802.3 Ethernet-100 to the ModBusUDP/TCP protocol) that allows to build network of any scale and topology. It allows to use the processor block from the Siberian company in management systems (APCS) of any complexity, to use them in geographically distributed systems, allows to scale and adapt in the shortest possible time the automated control system depending on features of the project in the shortest possible time, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
