2022: Supply of pipeline and suspension system made of composite materials
The resident of the special economic zone - the "Nanotechnological Center of Composites" (NCC) - completed the supply of a pipeline and a support and suspension system made of composite materials for the cooling system of the power units of the Indian nuclear power plant. This was announced on December 22, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.
A resident of the capital's SEZ began developing elements of the cooling system for the Kudankulam NPP in 2018. In May 2022, their production began, and in early December the company shipped the entire batch to the customer. The total length of the pipeline was more than 1300 meters, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. |
Composite pipes are made of chemically resistant polyester resin and glassware (bundles from filaments of continuous glass fiber), and a universal ultra-thin thermal insulation coating is applied to the surface of the pipes. The support and suspension system of the pipeline consists of seven elements, which are made of composite materials.
The underground part of the pipeline system is protected by special composite cases. In their manufacture, the resident of the SEZ of Moscow applied the technology: SMC - pressing the material at elevated temperatures (120-160 ° C). This allowed to increase the production speed and reduce the weight of the structures. The total length of the cases protecting the pipeline of the cooling system of the Kudankulam NPP power units is almost 200 linear meters.
The composite protective case for pipelines was developed by NCC specialists to replace the traditional metal one. A distinctive feature of the cases of our production are increased strength, interchangeability of parts, protection against stray currents and compact placement during transportation, - said Alexey Rannev, General Director of the NCC. |
NCC carries out a full cycle of development and production of products from polymer composite materials for various. industries industries
Products of the resident of the special economic zone of Moscow are in high demand not only in Russia, but also abroad. In 2022, the company continued export deliveries. Its export portfolio includes more than 20 countries of the world: from Western Europe and Asia to North and Latin America, "said Gennady Dogtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. |
