Until 2022, all logistics processes were conducted in their own accounting system with a TMS module. Routes were formed in it, orders were combined into flights, shipments were planned. Reports were collected in Excel, communication with partner transport companies was carried out manually through various communication channels, and distribution for them took a long time. Bidding also went in manual mode, without the ability to trace their history and effectiveness. In addition, information in large volumes from different sources was difficult to store and process.

To improve the quality of the logistics department, the management of the enterprise decided to improve and automate all elements of the supply chain. The TMS system was configured to automatically send mailings for carriers and transfer orders to forwarding agents directly from the accounting system to one click. And for effective work with peak loads, an electronic trading platform has been chosen.

Previously, the company studied all logistics platforms on the market in terms of the ratio of savings from the use of the solution and the budget required for it. Among the requirements for the site were the usual conditions and parameters with which the company's specialists are already working, for example, the ability to accept rates and recalculate them with VAT and without VAT. Simplicity, convenience and free use for freight forwarders and carriers, an intuitive interface, flexibility in terms of improvements and changes to the needs of the customer were also important.

All specified criteria were met by the "ATI.SU Sites," which are part of the ATI.SU ecosystem.

The work of the meat processing plant at the Sites with its own pool of carriers started in April 2022. It took about three months to integrate the necessary parameters and data set. ATI.SU managers also provided comprehensive support and assistance in connecting carriers to the platform. By the way, almost none of them needed training, since most of the counterparties already knew the Sites and worked with them earlier.

In the first three months of interaction with the platform, the company's budget savings amounted to 6%. The process of filling in the data of carriers was automated, the exchange of information with them accelerated and the human factor in various processes decreased.

The duration of trading was reduced from three to two hours. Contractors now see their duration and current rates, and logicians can track performance and receive analytics based on complete data using ATI.SU reports. The company actively uses reports on efficiency and trading history, as well as by direction, with a convenient grouping by region, filter by weight.

The market has shown that automation is needed by everyone and is available even to small shippers. To be among the experts, you need to use all the opportunities, change, build the right, effective business processes and track their implementation. The company is developing, opening other areas of sales and product line. And perhaps in the future the company will expand the project on them, using a case with already worked out processes. The company also hopes to scale the ATI Driver service to reach the level of quality standard, when most drivers will use this technology, and carriers will motivate them to do so. Such a step will bring the logistics of the company and the market as a whole to another level,
commented Timofey Malakhovsky, head of the outgoing logistics department of the Kurgan meat-packing plant "Standard."

Using "ATI.SU Sites" with familiar parameters and working conditions, the company's partner reduced the number of routine operations in manual format, automated almost the entire supply chain and increased the transparency of key business processes. The availability of all data in the system and analytics tools help the enterprise specialists to obtain complete information about interaction with contractors, trading performance, generate various reports and, based on them, make the necessary decisions. The company plans to continue cooperation with the Standard meat processing plant and, if necessary, will refine and change services for the needs of the enterprise,
noted Svyatoslav Wilde, founder and director of the ATI.SU Freight Exchange.
