2023: Implementation of the Employee Support Program

On February 14, 2023, the Letovo school introduced a program to support employees from the I Understand corporate well-being platform, 370 employees, both Russian and English speakers, will have access to the IT platform.

As part of the connected support program, employees of the Letovo school will be able to consult with psychologists, lawyers, financial and healthy lifestyle consultants, as well as apply for coaching support. The goal of well-being programs is to promote the mental health of employees, maintain their involvement in the workflow and increase productivity. The well-being of employees is the basic basis of engagement, therefore, in order to maintain natural motivation among employees, it is worth taking care of the physical and psychological state of the team.

2022 turned out to be alarming and tense. The high concentration of events changes the usual lifestyle of a person and his fundamental ideas about the world, so the introduction of support programs and caring for their teams as a whole becomes an environmentally friendly trend. The employer has such an option - its competitive quality, it also favorably affects the image of the company, - said Daria Fedorova, co-founder and executive director of the corporate well-being platform "I understand," coach ACSTH ICF.

Employee support programs (PPPs) are gaining popularity, as now employees themselves determine which advice to seek. Specialists help them overcome difficulties that arise in everyday life. For example, coping with stress. Data from various analytical sources indicate that in 2022, from 64 to 80% of Russians felt emotional exhaustion and anxiety arising against the background of strong nervous tension. The demand for psychological assistance has grown by 62% and remains stable until now.

Concern for the well-being of employees is also relevant for educational institutions. Increased emotional tension, along with other features of the teacher's profession, leaves its mark on habits and lifestyle, and also affects the state of health. According to the Research Institute of Occupational Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, about 60% of teachers are prone to neuroses associated with professional activities, 61% report the presence of chronic diseases, and only 23% indicate their absence.

During the three pilot months of using the program in our school, there were an average of about 4 consultations per employee, and their average rating was 4.9. In my opinion, this is an indicator of the demand for such assistance. In addition to teachers, the school has many other employees, we take care of the emotional and physical health of the team as a whole. Especially it requires attention during a period of uncertainty. Since January, we have launched full-fledged support so that each of our employees can seek individual advice from the right specialist, - commented Maria Stepanova, director of the personnel management department of the Letovo school.

As part of the PPP, the employee can choose the consultant himself, based on his experience and qualifications, see the ratings and feedback of other users. You can sign up for a specialist on any day convenient for the employee and choose the right time for the session.
