2023: Providing Hot Smartphones

Infinix supported the volunteer search and rescue squad "Lisa Alert," providing smartphones for one of the areas of activity of the squad - 30 devices of the HOT series were sent to the needs of information coordinators. Infinix announced this on August 8, 2023. Infinix smartphones are distinguished by increased autonomy and improved communication quality, therefore, they are optimal for tasks that LizaAlert information agencies have to deal with every day.

The LizaAlert volunteer search and rescue squad appeared in October 2010. The squad is looking for missing people in the forest and in the city. All search activities are organized by the LizaAlert volunteers at no cost. As of August 2023, the detachment has more than 30,000 people and is represented in 64 regions of the Russian Federation. Over 12 years, the detachment received more than 212,000 applications for the search for missing people, more than 181,000 people were found.

There are 25 areas in the detachment, whose activities are focused on the most effective response to each search request, including: coordinators, informants, signalmen, cartographers, dog handlers, registrars, unmanned aircraft and others. The infogroup of the detachment has about 500 people throughout the country, who work out every search request that comes to the detachment. According to statistics, approximately 20% of applications become an active or informational search, which are impossible without the participation of information coordinators.

In matters of finding people, time will always remain one of the key resources. The more effectively it is used, the more likely it is to find a lost person before something irreparable happens. It is possible to present the work of information coordinators who collect, analyze and structure all the obtained search data, as well as disseminate information about the disappearance of a person. Based on this data, the correct search vector is selected and tasks are set for groups working "in the fields."

To effectively fulfill these tasks, information coordinators need to always stay in touch, be able to conduct an additional survey of relatives and witnesses at any time. Often this means the need for hours on end to be on calls. In such situations, it is difficult to overestimate the presence at hand of a smartphone that can work for a long time in the "calls" mode. And in an ideal situation of such smartphones, the info should have two, so that even if the battery does sit down, you can use the second device while the first is on charge.

The work that search and rescue teams do every day has significant social significance. The result of their activities is saved lives and the reunification of the missing with relatives and loved ones. We believe this is an important mission and are ready to support it, "said Mario Yang, CEO of Infinix in Russia.

Of course, this was an important step towards developing cooperation, but Infinix will not limit itself to providing smartphones and will make efforts to attract additional attention to the problem of missing people. With the assistance of experts from LizaAlert, the company plans to conduct information and preventive campaigns and arouse public interest in this problem.
