On March 22, 2017 the BARS GROUP company announced creation of a regional laboratory information system by request of the Ministry of Health of Altai Republic and MIAC of Altai Krai. The project is implemented in partnership with the Altai branch PJSC Rostelecom.

Project Results

The project is executed within development of a regional fragment of Uniform State Health Information System. Works were performed by BARS GROUP together with the Altai branch PJSC Rostelecom.

As organizations of the first stage the Republican hospital and the Republican perinatal center are selected.

Feature of the project in creation of the single centralized solution integrated with the medical information system (MIS).

Expectations from implementation Use of a PIM:

  • will minimize quantity of errors at registration of biomaterials and data processing;
  • will reduce information exchange terms between the medical organizations and doctors,
  • will solve a problem of repeated providing analysis results,
  • will provide a possibility of operating control of labor costs and accounting of supplies.

Within project implementation the infrastructure operating in the region is used, additional costs on acquisition of the equipment, licenses for database management systems are not required.

The software product is unrolled in the protected data processing center of PJSC Rostelecom, has the single database, the functionality is available to health facilities of the region in the web browser. The protected network, as for MIS, the computers operating in laboratories is used.

The PIM has a single system of management of the normative reference information and allows input / use of the uniform regional unified reference book of researches by all organizations.
