Start of the robot for payment of invoices

Within implementation of a strategic initiative "the Industry 4.0" Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works expands scopes of RPA technology (Robotic Process Automation). The plant reported about it on June 30, 2020.

This technology gives the chance to tell accomplishment of a number of routine tasks to RPA robots that allows to increase efficiency of business processes and to increase labor productivity of employees.

One of examples of use of intellectual robotization of RPA – the project on implementation of the "smart" robot in payment process of invoices. The project is implemented by specialists of Competence center of RPA and innovations of MMP-Informservice LLC for MMK-accounting Center LLC. This robot has special function – he is capable to make independently decisions whether to continue processing of the document or to transfer a possibility of decision-making to the person, on the basis of results of processing of the words and phrases which are contained in the text. The processed text information is provided in a free unstructured form therefore it is impossible to set strict rules of verification of the text. The applied approach based on technology of the analysis of the text with subsequent "training" allows the robot to cope with an assigned task not worse than the person, and the number of wrong solutions with each attempt becomes less. While the robot is used when processing of the entering cash receipts and works with documents the same as it would be done by the person. Per day the robot processes more than 200 documents that allows to reduce considerably load of the employees who are responsible for this process.

Integration of program robotization and such technologies as AI (artificial intelligence), ML (machine learning) and NLP (methods of natural languag processing) allows MMK to use program RPA robots for the solution of harder and harder tasks.

Start of the robot on formation of the 2-PIT statement

"the MMK-accounting center" (enters into Group of PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works) continues work on the large-scale project on implementation of digital assistants.

Within the project the staff of MMK-accounting Center LLC together with Competence center of RPA and innovations of MMP-Informservice LLC implemented more than 15 initiatives of use of program robots. Including, specialists started in operation of the program robot who helps the staff of MMK-accounting Center LLC to create references in form 2-NDFL for employees of PJSC MMK.

Employees of MMK still make out requests for obtaining the reference through mobile application My MMK, but now their requests get not to the accountant, and to the digital assistant – the program robot. From each request the robot takes all necessary information on the applicant and the period for which it is necessary to create the reference, collects data in a corporate information system and creates references on the set templates. As a result the accountant needs only to check already created packet of references, to sign and issue to the worker.

In 4 months the program robot created more than 4,000 references for employees of ten societies of Group of PJSC MMK. Implementation of the digital assistant allowed to reduce load of the staff of MMK-Uchetnogo centra LLC, especially at the moments of peak loads and to increase quality of rendering service in issue of 2-PIT statements.
