2020: Testing by a VR helmet and development of pilotless carts
On July 6, 2020 it became known that at machine-building plant in Elektrostal situated near Moscow masters of sections and repairmen will fill out the check sheets with voice, electricians will put on helmets of virtual reality, and the predictive analytics will help production of fuel tablets.
It appeared, only the few have an idea of opportunities of VR, — the chief of laboratory of digital technologies of WIP Ilya Muromets says. Later, participants of a meeting reported what projects at them are implemented and what this technology can help. |
There was a task in all IT block to select people who would be engaged only in digitalization, and disruptive: would study recent trends, offered versions of solutions to those who cannot spend a lot of time for studying of technologies, — the chief designer of information systems of WIP Olga Shadrina tells. |
The possibility of demonstration of models and digital solutions to specialists TVEL and to the delegations visiting WIP was estimated. Besides, the proximity to Moscow allows to attract a great number of developer companies. Production business processes are in many respects similar in the organization therefore our practices can be extended to all enterprises TVEL. Of course, taking into account adaptation of solutions under the different equipment and operating conditions, — Olga Shadrina sums up. |
On WIP for July, 2020 study three main projects, the fourth — in a study stage.
The exercise machine of virtual reality for the electricians servicing distributors helps to fulfill the sequences of actions in different conditions. Undersign for the magazine that was received by a dress, to put on SIZ, to put a rug and t.d. — all algorithm is loaded into the program.
Staff of digital laboratory considers that the level of knowledge and confidence of actions at the electricians who were trained with VR will be higher, than at those who read the instruction and watched educational rollers, for example. Ideal option of assessment of effectiveness of VR, according to Ilya Muromts, — to compare quantity and completeness of residual knowledge at the employees who underwent VR preparation and at those who studied by a traditional method.
There is a research where it is counted as a percentage how many people remember from what read, saw, heard and tried. In the latter case indicator the highest. We assume — and just we want to check this hypothesis, — that the project will help electricians who daily bypass several tens of distributors, to work quicker and more surely, — Ilya Muromets says. |
Our customer, the chief power engineer, is absolutely confident that this technology will bring benefit at training of specialists, servicing a utilities equipment, and will increase production security, — Olga Shadrina adds. |
Input of the exercise machine in operation is planned for the end of fall of 2020.
The second project — the system of inspection of technology processes, the equipment and components of pipe production. Everything is arranged as follows: on a helmet the headset — points or the small screen before one eye fastens.
The technology, presumably, will reduce costs of time and quantity of errors of the foreman which two times for change is bypassed by the section and fills out the check sheet from 40 positions. If there are problems with the equipment, the master writes the request to repair service. So far both the check sheet, and requests on paper. A system works at voice actuation to release to the master of a hand. The headset is rather sensitive to react to a voice, despite noise in workshop.
A system itself fills out the check sheet and creates a task for repair. The master returns to a workplace, connects the headset to the computer and unloads documents. If the experiment works well, the project will be transferred to Wi-Fi. Data transmission will be wireless, plus it will be possible to contact the specialist of the service center at once if consultation is required. Besides, statistics of bypasses remains on the server so it is possible to keep the automated account of faults.
The same headset is intended to be handed for an equipment bypass to repairmen. Process is similar, but other sequence of actions, and other data are entered.
The term of implementation of the project — the end of 2020.
The third project — predictive analytics of product quality and a condition of equipment in workshop on production of fuel tablets.
We already collect data from the installations involved at different production phases of fuel tablets: for example, rotational speed of the screw, rolls and mill, effort of pressing of rolls and speed of the crusher. To foresee state change of the equipment, to find patterns which provide stable quality of tablets and to timely prompt optimal process parameters, we want to use artificial intelligence, — Olga Shadrina explains. |
Will analyze tens of parameters. Specialists will develop two models: forecasting of deviations of product quality and condition monitoring of the equipment for early detection of anomalies. Then specialists will configure both models: compare the forecast to real events. If discrepancies are big, there will be a question or of collecting of optional data, or of upgrade of models.
The fourth project so far in a study stage. For July, 2020 in workshop 91 for movement of finished goods from section on section it is necessary to call the cab and to load it using the crane. Further — departure on the street and entrance to other gate. Unload the machine the crane too. To simplify a route, suggest to use the pilotless cart, as in the logistic centers. The crane and the lorry will not be necessary.
We should make so that the solution conformed to requirements of production security. Sound and light indication, the system of recognition of existence of foreign objects in the direction of travel and an instant stop will be built in the cart. And with it it will be obligatory the attendant — on the way there should not be obstacles, — Olga Shadrina explains. |
Also in laboratory study applicability of the LoRaWan system. It allows to collect information from a set of remote sensors. One more technology — biometric recognition on the person.
In Elektrostal technologies which correspond to the strategy of digitalization TVEL and the uniform digital strategy of Rosatom are fulfilled. In recent years we tsifrovizirovat a number of office functions. The main objective — digitalization of production, maintenance and repair of the equipment.
