The IBS group announced on April 11, 2013 end of the major stage of business process automation of personnel management of Mail.Ru Group company on the basis of the SAP solution - SAP HCM finished by the IBS Group.
Result
The information system integrated data about more than 2 thousand employees at offices of different regions of Russia. The main criteria for the choice of the automation system are tough terms (it had to start working since January 1, 2013 in full) and existence of the solution for deployment of a self-service portal with broad functionality (independent execution of statements for holidays, business trips, access to own data coordinated to business processes and others).
"Market research showed that vendors cannot propose the standard solution yet for control automation by personnel which would fully conform to our requirements, – Veronika Gedgafova, the HR director of Mail.Ru Group noted. – Therefore, making the choice, we considered such factors as existence of a system, the closest to our requirements which at the same time can be configured flexibly under our business processes, presence at an examination command in IT solutions and in the field of HR, understanding of specifics of the industry and existence of high requirements to any process of automation. To us the IBS Group, and together with our command could propose the closest solution, financiers and automation specialists it was finished to necessary level".
The preparatory stage of the project took only two months, data migration and completion of IBS of the standard solution which is available in a portfolio based on SAP HCM under unique requirements of Mail.Ru Group was in parallel conducted. Within two months trial operation of a system was carried out and discrepancies in calculations for January between SAP and the historical systems are reduced "in zero".
In the project progress effective management of processes of the movement of personnel and accomplishment of all those accounting regulations regarding personnel records and the salary which are provided by regulating authorities and also that is not less important, regarding financial (managerial) accounting was provided.
