2019: Upgrade of compressor station of high and low pressure

On October 16, 2019 "The first engineer" (enters into LANIT group) reported that he performed modernization with replacement of the equipment of compressor station of high and low pressure of the Main hydroelectric power station of the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydropower complex. Specialists of the company executed a full range of works, including project development of a binding and the work documentation, construction and commissioning. A project objective – to lower operating and repair costs, to increase system reliability of the HEPS and also to transfer the compressor equipment from air cooling on water.

Compressed air at the enterprise is consumed by the system of charging of boilers of oil-pressure installations, the system of control instrumentation and devices, hydraulic unit braking systems. Need of the upgrade of compressor units of low and high pressure which is carried out within the large-scale program of complex reconstruction was dictated physical and obsolescence of the installed equipment. Operation of the operating compressor units was integrated to regular unscheduled repairs, and as a result, frequent equipment downtime and the raised costs for maintenance and repair.

The First Engineer company dismantled an obsolete equipment, executed installation of six compressors of high and low pressure on the Main hydroelectric power station and also developed and successfully implemented a modern management system for compressor units. Integrated into the existing industrial control system, the management system for compressor units allows to change a priority of operation of the equipment in the manual and automatic mode and also on operating time time with a possibility of remote visualization, management and data recording in archive.

Execution of works on the operating object without stop of technology process always requires from the contractor special attention to parts and involves additional tasks of the organization of time schemes for accomplishment of installation and construction works. However the team of "The first engineer" should work in such format not for the first time. All project tasks were carried out at the minimum intervention in work of the HEPS. The carried-out upgrade of compressor units will allow to provide high degree of reliability of a feed system and preparation of compressed air of the Main hydroelectric power station and also will reduce operating costs of the enterprise,
