CorpSoft24 May 20, 2021 announced the completion of a project to transfer the Makita instrument warehouse in the city of Pushkino to address storage mode.

Makita is the official dealer of the Japanese company Makita, which produces power tools for construction, repair and woodworking. The company sells tools, accessories, spare parts, consumables in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The Makita warehouse is located in the city of Pushkino, Moscow Region, and provides for the storage of about 700 thousand units of equipment by serial numbers as of May 2021. The warehouse is divided into three sections, each of which consists of 24 lines of 30 shelves. In total, more than 54 thousand storage cells are placed on the racks. The purpose of the project was to allow the system to manage each of these cells addressably, taking into account serial numbers of tools based on QR codes.

To implement the project, CorpSoft24 significantly refined the configuration of the software product "1C: Trade Management 8," which is used in the company.

According to Konstantin Kryzhanovsky, head of the 1C CorpSoft24 support department, such solutions allow you to manage the movement of goods in the warehouse more efficiently and fulfill the role of a full-fledged WMS system.

For wholesale and retail companies, such systems provide all warehouse management processes: placing goods on arrival, moving and shipping to customers, as well as selection and inventory. In addition, they support working with data collection terminals using software from DataMobile, "says Konstantin Kryzhanovsky.

So, in the storage bins of the enterprise, the level of availability, dimensions, load capacity, recommended filling by weight and volume in percent can be indicated. This configuration mechanism will allow you to achieve an optimal placement scenario.

Such solutions may be of interest to wholesale and retail companies, whose assortment has thousands of items, since they allow to control the turnover of goods in the warehouse with accuracy to the cell. The speed of receiving goods, collecting and shipping orders is significantly reduced. This allows warehouse workers to increase the efficiency and quality of work, make inventory management more transparent, "adds Konstantin Kryzhanovsky.
