Mareven Fud Central upgrades a corporate portal

On November 8, 2013 the Softline company announced project completion on completion and Active Directory integration of a corporate portal on the 1C Platform Bitrix for Mareven Food Central company.

Project Tasks

For quality improvement and efficiency of IT specialists in Mareven Food Central company the decision on completion of an internal corporate portal is made.

According to domestic policy, the staff of the organization in work actively uses a corporate portal based on 1C Bitrix, and relevance of the placed data plays a significant role. The company constantly develops. A task of IT services - to provide the continuity of workflow. All structural changes should be reflected quickly in all corporate systems including on a corporate portal. Therefore the mechanism allowing to automate as much as possible input of employees in workflow is necessary for the company.

Project Progress

As the IT partner attracted Softline company which specialists have long-term experience and high competences of creation of solutions on the 1C Platform Bitrix. The team of the contractor was faced by a problem of updating of the current configuration – "1C Bitrix: the Business processes corporate portal" - to configuration 12.0 on the virtual server and integration of a product with the Active Directory.

As a result IT specialists of the customer had a possibility of import of lists of employees from AD in 1C Bitrix, and setup of a system of authorization allowed users to come into different applications under uniform credentials that considerably saved time to both groups. Besides, within works on integration the monitoring system of process of import of data was created. Now all information on changes (for example, about removal or adding of users and their credentials) remains, and the notification about this fact comes to the responsible system administrator to corporate mail.

"The task of expansion of opportunities of import became an interesting part of the project for us. Specialists of Softline increased a standard set of fields from which information is unloaded on the portal. Besides, a number of the mechanisms allowing to filter flexibly lists of employees at once by several parameters was developed", – Alexey Feofanov, the deputy manager of department of development of Softline company in Taganrog noted.
