"A meadow yes a field" used M2M service for connection of cash registers

On July 28, 2015 the MegaFon company announced signing of the contract on provision of services of M2M for cash registers of Meadow yes Field company^[1].

Project Progress

SIM cards of the operator equip about 1 thousand cash registers of retail chain stores of the client located in the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region. Data on the transactions executed at the checkout equipped with SIM cards through wireless Internet connection are transferred to a primary server of the enterprise.

In turn, retail chain stores of service based on M2M are given the chance to significantly simplify and accelerate sales accounting on remote outlets".

Project Results

Existence of tens of outlets requires operational and reliable information exchange from each of them, the representative of customer company noted. Equipping cash registers with SIM cards from MegaFon, the company received high-quality and fast data transmission between an accounting system and shop. The company can control all sales online and if necessary carry out correction of deliveries.
