To start of the project

Active development and growth of the company led to significant increase in quantity entering, proceeding and also internal documentation. With respect thereto, before company management there was a question of increase in efficiency and coordination of work of all structural divisions concerning processing, statements and executions of documents. These tasks, in combination with the selected course towards implementation of the innovative technologies in business processes of the organization, were premises to system implementation of electronic document management.

Tasks

The system implementation purpose – optimization of work of all services involved in document flow of the organization, increase in control of performing discipline.

Explanation

"At this stage of organization development the decision on implementation of EDMS was obvious as our organization is the enterprise of primary processing of the cattle, and all activity is certified and licensed not only the corresponding national standards, but also the veterinary and epidemiological conclusions. From here the increased requirements to the organization of work of personnel and optimization of document flow", - the head of information technology of meat-processing plant VLADI Sergey Polennikov reports.

Selection

According to the results of the carried-out market research of domestic electronic document management systems representatives of meat-processing plant VLADI selected 10 systems - leaders. As a result of detailed studying of EDMS, the customer stopped the choice on a document management system and tasks of TEZIS developed by HAULMONT company. The choice is caused by satisfaction of a system to all requirements and high standards of production company and also the innovation developed taking into account relevant requirements of the modern organizations and use of the latest development tools. Future users who especially noted convenience of work in a system were also involved in selection process of the solution.

Solution

In April, 2011 in meat-processing plant VLADI there passed system implementation of management of documents and tasks of TEZIS. The project on system implementation consisted of three stages: the express analysis of processes of the enterprise of the customer, installation of a system, personnel training of the company to work in a system. Since May, 2011 commercial operation of the THESIS system began, the intensity of work in a system is about 600 documents and 1500 tasks a month.
