2019: Accounting system implementation for management of retail sales and an after-sale service
On December 5, 2019 the 1C-Rarus company reported that it created an accounting system for management of retail sales and an after-sale service of JSC Mercedes-Benz based on own development "An alpha Car, edition 6". The subsystem is developed for management of lease of cars, blocks of sales and an after-sale service are finished.
According to the company, in 2016 the company management made the decision to update the accounting system: it was necessary to process a part of business processes and to reduce the number of the collected completions. The tender organized by JSC Mercedes-Benz won 1C-Rarus with a product of own development "1C-Rarus of the Alpha Car: Motor show + Car service + Auto parts 6".
Creation of the updated accounting system which optimizes management of sale and lease, repair and service of Mercedes-Benz cars became the main task of the project.
Key project deliverables is the following:
- Block of car sales. Functions are developed for more effective management of sales and a financial result:
- multiple-factor calculation of profitability for each transaction;
- convenient search of the car in customer requirements;
- interactive schedulers of test drives and issue of cars to clients;
- the restoration system of cars integrated with a document approval subsystem;
- functionality of management of transactions on crediting and insurance.
- Block of lease of cars. Process of lease of cars is not included into the standard product "Alpha Car, Edition 6". The original subsystem was developed during the project and includes:
- Management of the park of cars.
- Pricing for different types of lease.
- the Calendar of lease — the instrument of visual planning and control.
- Maintaining requests for lease.
- Execution of agreements with an opportunity to make changes if the client decided to prolong lease or to test other car.
- Control of penalties of traffic police.
- Reporting under sales of services and use of the park.
The functionality of a subsystem is also used for accounting of issue of substitution cars to clients of service.
- Block of an after-sale service. During the project uniform processes on car repairs are built: from the moment of primary contact with the client before post-service call-downs. The developed system considers features of business processes of the company and meets standards of Mercedes-Benz on convenience of work of users and speed of a response. In a system all stages of repair are implemented, including: transfer from record to repair in the working order, issue of spare parts, accounting of labor costs, accounting of the spare parts removed on a guarantee and planning of the following contact with the client.
- routine transactions Are automated: repair planning, reservation of spare parts, issue of goods, warehouse transactions of address storage of goods. And for difficult transactions — for example, reversals of documents — are created step-by-step master forms after which filling a system creates documents in the background.
- Planning tools of repair allow to write in several minutes of the client regardless of that, he addressed earlier or not. It is necessary to specify basic data of the client and to describe the address reasons — the rest will make automatic planning of repair. Also at record on repair information on the car and its owner is available to the operator: the history of service, the operating service and marketing campaigns, existence of spare parts orders and service contracts, a status of calculations.
- Block of automatic reservation allows employees not to think of existence of spare parts — a system will analyze existence in available warehouses and will reserve in necessary quantity. If the spare part does not appear available, the program will suggest to make the supplier order or to move it from a warehouse of other division.
- also the system of discounts in Alpha Car underwent Serious customization: from pricing on spare parts on order types before purpose of marketing actions to clients taking into account client segments and cars.
- the tool of the analysis of activity of divisions of an after-sale service which replaced OLAP systems used earlier Is developed.
Within the project more than 10 integration of Alpha car with external systems are configured, 300 jobs are automated. Cooperation of JSC Mercedes-Benz with 1C-Rarus company continues, in plans — development of a system.
