Greyn Holding reduced costs due to transfer of corporate mail in a cloud

On April 3, 2017 the LanCloud company announced implementation of the single consolidated e-mail system in the company "Greyn Holding'.

Choosing a Solution

For the solution of these tasks the decision on implementation of the single integrated mail system based on Microsoft Exchange Server which implementation, in turn, required rather high capital investments, both in the equipment and the software, and on further support of service was made. For the purpose of expense optimization the possibility of placement of mail in a cloud was considered.

Based on tender the cloud service of Cloud Exchange from LanCloud company was selected. Cloud Exchange represents ready SaaS service with ample opportunities of integration with corporate infrastructure, the big size of mailboxes — 50GB on the user and also that is important, with placement of personal data in the territory of the Russian Federation in compliance with FZ-242.

Project Progress

Specialists of LanCloud made data migration from all third-party mail systems of each division of holding, integrated address directories, made integration with the Active Directory directory service. Besides, in terms of information security separation of administrative powers between system administrators of separate divisions was made.
