On February 27, 2023, MTS PJSC announced the transfer of the data platform to its own DataOps Platform, which will completely replace foreign solutions. The developed software speeds up the launch of new products on the market several times, and the potential savings in working with data thanks to the implementation of the DataOps Platform is estimated at a billion rubles until 2025.

DataOps Platform provides ecosystem products with state-of-the-art tools for data consumption, storage, transformation, visualization, distribution, quality control, and security, while reducing processing and communication time from days to seconds. DataOps Platform plays a key role in the central platform of the MTS The Platform ecosystem, provides the main data governance processes for the entire ecosystem and is an essential element of MTS technology strategy.

By transferring the ecosystem to its own platform for working with data, MTS will be able to solve the issue of dependence on the solutions of foreign vendors. Import substitution of previously used data services will allow MTS to safely and in a short time transfer all products of the ecosystem working with data to the DataOps platform. First of all, client and commercial data, system and infrastructure performance, financial statements, documents, deep analytics will be transferred to the platform, the company noted.

The platform is used in key ecosystem products: MTS Marketer, MTS Travel and other MTS services. More than 1000 MTS analysts, data specialists and engineers are already using the DataOps Platform in their daily work. The implementation of the DataOps Platform in the MTS IT landscape and the transition to a self-service data model made it possible to reduce the cost of maintaining centralized analytical teams by three times and increase productivity by five times. At the same time, the quality and accuracy of forecasts when using DataOps Platform increased to 95%.

The standardized DataOps Platform reduces the total cost of ownership and information management across the MTS ecosystem. It ensures the synergy of all platform services within the company.
