Content

On December 23, 2013 the IBS group announced project completion of implementation of the automated process control system of maintenance and repair of the equipment for Efes Rus company creation of the unified information system on the SAP ERP platform.

Project Tasks

The Efes Rus company is formed in 2012 after merge in brewing giants SABMiller and Anadolu EFES. At a stage of formation of the general structure of alliance there was a question of transition of the united company to the unified information system, process of integration received the name One Company. Before merge both companies worked in own information systems implemented on the SAP ERP platform.

Transition to a single system of management took place in October, 2013.

Project Progress

Within implementation of a single system forces of a joint command IBS also Efes Rus implement the unified process of maintenance and repair of the equipment (TORO) of the enterprises Efes Rus, data migration from legacy system is carried out, start of the TORO new system in operation at three plants of the united company is executed. Besides, planning process of purchases of spare parts and materials for needs of TORO is improved. Within the project in a system algorithms of automatic replenishment of safety stocks and purchase planning "under repair" when a source of requirement is directly the order of TORO are implemented.

The solution existing before merge in SABMiller company which was finished within the project is taken as a basis when implementing the unified process of TORO. Replacement of a large number of additional developments with the standard SAP ERP tools became one of key requirements to a new system.

The project was executed according to the implementation methodology of projects admitted to Efes Rus and controlled by Project Office of the company.

Project Results

Alexey Kalyuzhin, the manager of projects of Efes Rus, noted: "Implementation of the uniform optimized management system for maintenance and repairs of the equipment at all enterprises of Efes Rus company is intended to extend the best practices of maintenance of SAP. Reliability augmentation of the equipment and effective management of spare part stocks will become result of implementing solution at the Efes Rus plants. We calculate that it will create in the company of premises to transition from abnormal maintenance and major repairs to service on the actual technical condition, will lead to reduction of number of excess purchases, and finally, will lower the inventory level in warehouses without loss of reliability of supply of repairs".
"As practice of last years shows, the system of SAP allows to reduce considerably reserves of materials and costs for maintenance of the equipment, at the same time significantly prolonging service life of machines, - Anton Tabalin, the head on development of a system of maintenance of Efes Rus told. - Process automation of maintenance promotes more effective use of resources".
Evgeny Zakharinsky, the manager of projects of IBS, emphasized: "The IBS command is glad to a possibility of cooperation with Efes Rus and the fact that our extensive experiment on creation of management systems for business assets is demanded by the largest Russian companies.
