On February 5, 2019 it became known that the child structure of Rusnano and supercomputer company "T-Platforms""T-nano" — became the winner in the multimillion tender of Lomonosov Moscow State University according to the results of which it will receive the first IT contract in six and a half years of existence.

The tender was held in a format of an electronic auction and was designed to define the supplier of the second equipment for expansion of the center of collective use of MSU of high-performance computing resources. The starting price of lot was exposed at the level of 60 million rubles.

After order taking term from applicants "T-nano" it was the only applicant. On this basis the auction was formally recognized cancelled, however the agreement in MSU with "T-nano" is all the same intended to be signed (customary practice when purchasing the companies with state participation — under 223 Federal Laws, noted in CNews).

As reported in CNews, the first equipment for expansion of the center of collective use of MSU was purchased by the university at the end of 2017 — also for 60 million rubles. T-Platforms became the only applicant on in a row and its contractor then.

According to the technical project of the tender of MSU, posted on the website of state procurements, "T-nano" it is necessary to supply a set of the equipment for expansion of storage of current directories of users to the university. It should be compatible to Panasas AS16 storage system which is available for the customer.

Other set of the equipment is intended for expansion of storage of working these users. Concerning it the requirement of a possibility of installation of deliverable servers of object data of the parallel file system in T-Platforms V5050L which is available for the customer a blade chassis and also possibility of installation of the servers of the parallel T-Platforms V200s file system which are available for the customer in delivered a blade chassis is registered. At the same time drives of this system should be compatible to the drives Dell EMC which are already installed in MSU.

The last set of the equipment assumed to delivery — for a backup system and archiving — should be compatible to the Dell EMC VNX3200e system.

In T-Platforms in a conversation with CNews, noted that as a part of the equipment presumably there will be several servers of T-Platforms though their share from the total amount of delivery is estimated as "insignificant".

Delivery of goods is expected 120 calendar days from the moment of signing of the contract.[1]
