On December 27, 2013 it became known of the project of transition to fiber optic data transmission technologies in corporate network of Mosoblbank. The project is implemented with participation of the operator of MGTS.

Project Progress
The department of information technologies of Mosoblbank signed the large contract according to which gradual transfer of telecommunication infrastructure of all capital departments of the customer to fiber optic network is provided with MGTS.
Transition to "optics" will help to increase significantly the speed and volume of the transmitted data. Besides, the cost of 1 Megabit will fall.

Project Results
Divisions of bank will be able significantly to save on costs. As of December, 2013 eight bank departments passed to optical medium of data transmission. In 2014 transfer of capital offices on "optics" will be continued.
