2021: Two-week tests of the Hive drone

In the Troitsky city district of Moscow, two-week tests were held, during which the Moscow City Search and Rescue Service on Water Bodies and the Moscow Agency for Innovation conducted flights of the Russian serial droneport Hive in real conditions as part of the Moscow program for pilot testing innovations. This was announced on November 23, 2021 by the company Gaskar Group (Gaskar Integration).

The pilot projects are designed to test in practice solutions that will be able to optimize the work of the IPCC in the future. The Dronoport Hive station is designed to fully automate the departure, drone its maintenance, security, and maintain accumulators the temperature inside the box optimal for durability. The system allows you to remotely control the drone, which significantly saves the time for the pilot to leave for the search and rescue site. If necessary, the drone flies out with a given mission within a minute, conducts reconnaissance and shooting at the scene of the incident automatically and transfers to data the TsUP.

We are satisfied with the results. For two weeks, the drone independently made 8 sorties per day and circled with a radius of up to 9 km, transmitting an actual and detailed picture to the ground, "said Yaroslav Chernogorov, head of the BVS GKU MGPSS. - To make emergency decisions, it is important to be able to get the most information quickly and 24 hours a day. And in 100% of cases, a drone ready for flight began its mission in less than 45 seconds after receiving the task, quickly reached the desired area and transmitted detailed data to the ground, providing continuous monitoring of the area of responsibility of the search and rescue station. At the same time, all flight missions were built through the web interface in advance and were carried out in automatic mode. As a result, all the requirements of the Pilot Test Methodology and Terms of Reference were met.

This is a droneport that provides automatic "hot" battery replacement, reducing the time between departures from more than one hour to three and a few minutes, which is extremely important for monitoring emergencies. And while the robot changes batteries, the recording from the drone is saved on the hard drive of the drone, "explained Svetlana Urnysheva, head of the program for pilot testing innovations of the Moscow Innovation Agency. - During the tests, the drone completed 100% of the tasks without incident at a temperature of + 15 ° to + 35 ° and wind gusts of up to 10 m/s, and in one mission it could overcome a distance of 21 km.

For us, the tests of the search and rescue service have become an extremely important stage for the entire project. Prior to this, our automated drone ports were used in other industries, for example, when controlling residential and road construction, protecting the territory and monitoring the urban environment, "added Nikolai Ryashin, General Director of Dronoport Hive. - Understanding how important stability, autonomy and round-the-clock readiness are when saving people, we carefully monitored how the robotic system independently handles drone maintenance, battery replacement and maintaining the necessary conditions. It is important that rescuers around the clock and from anywhere can send a drone to the task in a matter of minutes.
