ITERBI booked technical audit of a structured storage of data for Mosgortrans

On June 28, 2018 the ITERBI company reported that it within the Microsoft SAM Services program completed the SAM Server Optimization project for SUE Mosgortrans. The project allows to analyze and estimate possibilities of optimization of IT infrastructure for performance improvement of databases.

SUE Mosgortrans for August, 2018 services 800 routes of the bus, the trolleybus and the tram. Daily more than 5.5 million passengers use them.

In the company the project on creation of the structured storage of data (SSD) which lasted one and a half years approached end. By DWH it was created for increase in efficiency of use of information systems and accuracy of the data, reduction of labor costs of employees of the organization by preparation and the analysis of the management reporting, providing convenient tools for operational decision making.

Before input of a system in operation by IT company management the decision on involvement of the independent auditor for assessment of the solution developed by contract organization was made.

As such partner the ITERBI command was chosen. In a month specialists of ITERBI booked technical audit of the solution of DWH based on SQL servers and also inspection of the high level of the hardware of DWH based on HP 3PAR.

As a result of inspection recommendations which will allow to increase the level of information security of DWH, storage and data recovery, performance of work of databases, to considerably reduce delays and also to reduce the cost of the solution due to more effective use of available capacities were created.

We highly appreciated work of a project team on development of DWH. And still at such long project it is important to have an opportunity to estimate results a new view. The created recommendations will help to increase performance of databases and to avoid "bottlenecks".
