Rostelecom has organized a digital communication channel to broadcast the Commonwealth Cup (FMC Cup) motocross and supercross competitions. More than 200 thousand people became viewers of the broadcast. The data transfer rate reached 300 Mbps. Rostelecom announced this on October 4, 2022.

Thanks to the online broadcast, the progress of the competition could be observed live social networks in the Motorcycle Federation, sport Russia where not only all the races were shown in real mode, time but also communicated with guests in the Yakhnich Motorsport studio. For those who did not have time to watch the broadcast, it is available in the recording, - said the press secretary of the motorcycle sports federation Alexander Lesnikov.

The track on which the competitions were held is well known to Russian fans of motocross and is one of the best in Russia. Its length is 1850 meters, its width in the narrowest place is 10 meters, and the height difference reaches 40 meters. The track meets all world standards. Over the past ten years, the European Motocross Championship, the World Motocross Championship among juniors have been hosted here five times, and since 2017 - the Russian stage of the World Motocross Championship.

To broadcast motocross competitions in early October, we were able to quickly prepare a communication channel due to the fact that we built a developed telecom infrastructure on the territory of the Orlenok VDC, which made it possible to ensure a good data transfer rate, "said Dmitry Sopinsky, deputy director of the Krasnodar branch for work with corporate and state segments of PJSC Rostelecom.

The Commonwealth Cup in Orlenka was organized by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Russian Motorcycle Sports Federation and the Krasnodar Territory Motorcycle Sports Federation with the assistance of the Krasnodar Territory Administration and the Orlenok VDC. Leading athletes from 9 countries took part in the races: Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India, China, Mongolia and South Korea.
