As part of the cross-border cooperation project "Amber unites us. Joint actions to preserve and use the amber heritage "in the Museum of the World Ocean installed two domestic scanning complexes - with their help, employees of the Kaliningrad museum will be able to digitize any exhibits, ranging from ancient books to paintings and large-format maps. As part of the rossiyskoPolish project to preserve the historical heritage, two professional ones were put into the Kaliningrad Museum, scanner ELAR which together create almost unlimited opportunities for digitizing diverse exhibits. In turn, the non-contact scanning complex ELAR PāSkan A0  ART  is designed for translation  in the electronic form of any voluminous originals, works of art (for example, pictures can be digitized without taking them out of the frame). In this case, the scanner creates digital copies in reprographic quality.
