NBD-Bank completes upgrade of a corporate mail system

On July 23, 2013 the Softline company announced project completion of upgrade of a mail system on the Microsoft Exchange platform for NBD-bank.

Project Background

For optimization of IT processes in head and additional offices of bank the task is set: carry out migration of a mail service of Microsoft Exchange 2003 on Exchange 2010. The Softline company became the partner in the project of upgrade.

Project Progress

The command of Softline conducted preproject examination, developed architecture of a new mail system, created the step-by-step plan of migration. Within the project engineers of Softline created pilot infrastructure and carried out transition of users in a test environment, the subsequent switching of employees to Exchange 2010. At a final stage of works specialists of the contractor took Microsoft Exchange 2003 out of service and held testing of a new mail service according to the developed criteria of the program and a test procedure.

"Results of testing showed significant increase in fault tolerance of a mail system and increase in speed of passing of mail. Remote access allowed employees of the bank to react quickly to changes and to work fully, being out of the workplace", - Yury Pikhun, the sales manager of solutions of Softline in Nizhny Novgorod noted.
