Goals and Objectives
The management of a water utility pays much attention to rational distribution of the equipment by objects and works to reduce, and whenever possible completely to liquidate queues on receiving the equipment according to work requests. The management set the task to arrange order taking for transport and special equipment, to accelerate execution of waybills before departure of the equipment, to provide accurate accounting of its work. It was at the same time going to create the tool for objective job evaluation of drivers, mechanics and other personnel, for planning of checkups, accounting of spare parts and repairs.
Choosing a Solution
For the solution of assigned tasks the 1C: Motor Vehicle Management system was selected, and the Nizhny Novgorod branch of 1C-Rarus company having big competences in the field of automation of the state and commercial enterprises of the region became the contractor of the project. On system implementation half a year was required. 50 jobs were automated.
Result
- The uniform order of acceptance and accounting of requests for transport is entered. On their basis daily in the automatic mode the order for transport and waybills for drivers forms. Significantly the labor input of operation of managers decreased. Processing of waybills before run takes 6 times less working time now: if on the statement of waybills 4 hours left earlier, then now on it only 40 minutes are required. Accounting spent for entering of waybills in the information system more than 5 hours a day earlier, and now is absolutely exempted from it is automatic data transfer about work of drivers and the equipment from the 1C: Motor Vehicle Management system in the accounting program is configured.
- Operational planning of operation of the equipment and special transport is organized. Queues were reduced by receiving the equipment. Transport comes to the place of accident quicker now that as a result reduces losses of water and the losses of the company connected with it and its clients.
- The quality of planning of checkups and car repairs improved, control of passing of checkups is strengthened. It allows a water utility to support all units of vehicle fleet in excellent operating condition. Probability of outages of technology because of breakdowns is minimized.
Integration "1C: Motor Vehicle Management" with the system of GPS monitoring allowed to strengthen control of the movement of vehicles. In 1C information on an equipment run, data on time of departure and arrival quickly comes to a garage, transit time and operating time on an object. Thanks to it it is possible to determine the speed of accomplishment of certain work types and to trace what share in this process is occupied by the road to the scene. It helps to plan more rationally work of transport at emergence of similar works.
50 employees of JSC Nizhegorodsky vodokanal - and it is over 20% of all collective - noted that workflow became simpler, convenient and effective. The management of the Nizhny Novgorod water utility quickly obtains now full and reliable information about work of motor transportation division of the enterprise. There was an opportunity in more detail to analyze bottlenecks in work of transport and to take timely measures for their elimination.
"Automating process of work with waybills, we expected to exclude routine work of staff of transport division of the company and also to reduce a downtime of the equipment in garages. Having reorganized work of transport management, we reduced labor input of work almost by 9 times, and it is not a limit, - Stanislav Shulgin, the First Deputy CEO noted. - In the future we plan further optimization of loading of transport".
