The North-West Telecom implements OSS and manages network

The North-West Telecom (NWT) company completed the project of automation of provision of services of traditional telephony using the system of operational support of a communication network (SEPSS - OSS). Contractor of the project Step Logic company integrator.

Project today

At the beginning of August of this year of Step Logic data on all St. Petersburg subscribers of SZT and the provided services are transferred to SEPSS. At the same time SEPSS is integrated with an information billing system and the software of the graphic module. The held events allowed the telecom operator to avoid almost completely paper document flow when accounting constructions of communication and changes in network.

A little earlier

In 2005 the companies SZT also Step Logic implemented one of modules OSS systems - Inventory based on which collecting, the analysis, systematization and data migration about network elements is conducted. In September, 2009 SZT and Step Logic signed the agreement on continuation of works on implementation of SEPSS. In April, 2010 SZT put SEPSS into commercial operation.
