Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library (NSRSL) (ELAR Planskan)

In the Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library (NSRSL) tender on supply of equipment is complete. As a result delivery of a hardware-software complex of digitization acquired the right to installation Prosoft-PK company (ELAR corporation).

Within project implementation two complexes of planetary scanning of ELAR Planskan of A2VTs will be set. The equipment is equipped with a V-shaped cradle which gives the chance to digitize both new books, and rare editions with incomplete disclosure. Scanners have the function of alignment of lines in the field of a back allowing to receive pictures without distortion of quality and additional manual image processing.

It should be noted that the staff of NGONB already uses the ELAR planetary scanner of the Repro series. Feature of this complex of scanning – in a LED reprosistema of lighting which makes the minimum impact on originals.

The Novosibirsk state regional scientific library is the regional center for work with book monuments, the largest information, cultural and scientific and methodical center of the Novosibirsk region. The book fund of library makes 1.4 million units of storage, for 85% of fund the electronic directory is made.
