2020: Implementation of SAP ERP in Citimobile and Delivery Club

On December 3, 2020, SAP CIS announced that O2O Holding, a joint venture between Mail.ru Group and Sberbank, completed the implementation of SAP ERP in the parent company and its two assets - Citimobile and Delivery Club. The implemented system will allow companies to centralize and unify the main financial functions, payroll and HR processes. In the future, the circulation of the system to other enterprises of the holding is planned.

As part of the asset consolidation process, it was decided to create a single back office for the management company and key business units. The main objectives of the project were the centralization and unification of business processes, as well as the optimization of costs for corporate systems.

As of December 2020, O2O Holding operates the SAP digital platform, on the basis of which financial and personnel business processes are implemented. The processes of personnel administration and payroll calculation are digitized. In addition, an HR portal has been created on the basis of a single system, where self-service services are available to holding employees: ordering inquiries, making business trips, coordinating vacations and other documents. The system also covers the holding's financial processes: accounting and management accounting, work with customers and creditors, controlling, asset management, budget control, treasury and payment management. By using SAP, companies have been able to implement the quick close concept - for management reporting purposes, business units working with SAP generate financial statements on the third business day since the closing of the period.

The implementation of the project allows not only to increase the efficiency of current processes, but also to lay the foundation for new ones. It is planned to develop the capabilities of SAP solutions in the field of analytics and consolidated customer experience management. In the future, O2O Holding will develop analytical products related to the corporate data warehouse, tools for visualizing analytics, creating dashboards and reporting at the request of shareholders.

As part of the project, we created a single digital space, centralized processes and laid down rules and control over their implementation by companies included in the holding. On the one hand, we want well-established business processes to be easily replicated to new companies. On the other hand, it is important for us to see a clear, transparent picture of the business, to quickly receive reliable reports at the request of shareholders. SAP provides all procedures related to fast closing and reporting to the Board of Directors. In addition, the system includes the opportunity to see transactional data in case there is a need for detailed analytics, "said Alexander Shashkov, CEO of O2O Holding.
