2025: Implementation of "1C:ERP Enterprise Management"
CorpSoft24 completed the project to develop and implement an accounting system based on the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management software platform at the head office and branches of the scrap metal company OMK-EcoMetal. The customer received a comprehensive solution for automation and end-to-end management of their business process data, integrated with 15 related enterprise systems. This was announced by CorpSoft24 on December 17, 2025.
The activities of the scrap metal company OMK EcoMetal are focused on the procurement, processing and supply of ferrous scrap to the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, which is part of the OMK Group, as well as third-party organizations.
OMK EcoMetal is actively implementing the digitalization of business processes. Previously, separate management and operational accounting systems (1C: Trade and 1C: Operational Accounting) and accounting system (1C: Accounting) were used for resource management in each branch. This caused difficulties with the formation of consolidated statements for the enterprise, calculation of cost and settlement of settlements with counterparties. There was no unified methodology for planning and accounting in branches.
In connection with the growth of production volumes and the expansion of the geography of the business, the management of OMK EcoMetal decided to develop and implement at all its enterprises a single integrated information system of the ERP class based on the 1C: ERP Enterprise Management software platform - ERP MK OMK-ECOMETALL.
The project had the following objectives:
- transfer of accounting to a single comprehensive system with centralized access;
- automation of control of business processes of scrap acceptance and processing on ROM;
- automation of control of transit scrap supply processes;
- automation of maintenance and repair processes accounting (MR);
- automation of routine accounting and fiscal reporting;
- calculation of the cost of finished goods in each branch;
- increase in employee productivity;
- reducing the impact of the human factor on accounting business processes;
- improving accuracy of data collected in the system;
- preparation of analytical reports on the results of business operations.
The project was implemented by CorpSoft24 specialists.
At the system design stage, the CorpSoft24 experts collected the customer's requirements, conducted an audit and analysis of existing systems and business processes of enterprises, formed a design solution, worked out the mechanisms for migrating historical data and integrating the system being created with adjacent internal and external systems. A methodology for uniform business process management in "1C:ERP was also formed. Enterprise Management. "
Then the development, implementation, load testing of the system was carried out. Due to the complexity of the system, its implementation took place in two stages: first, the functionality of operational accounting was connected, then the regulated one. As part of the pilot operation, CorpSoft24 specialists took over three lines of technical support for the system, including an expanded first line with 24x7 duty. At the same time, a subsystem for maintaining a centralized NSI for all branches and the central office of OMK EcoMetal was developed and implemented. Historical information was migrated from several accounting systems to a single database.
All necessary integrations with 15 internal and external information systems of different types were also carried out. For example, ERP MK OMK-ECOMETALL interacts with the system for preparing and processing transportation documents, the online banking payment system, the metal weighing system, the video analytics system, the UZEDO module, various 1C modules, the Autograph transport monitoring system and many others - more than 40 integration flows have been implemented in total.
Since the large amount of data stored in the system is confidential information, specialists paid great attention to ensuring its information protection in strict accordance with the standards of the OMK holding.
A separate important stage was the training of customer personnel in the basics of system administration and operation. To do this, CorpSoft24 experts conducted a number of webinars and created a series of video instructions. Users of the system are several groups of OMK-EcoMetal employees: branch director, site managers, operators, accountants, economists, sales support specialists, scrap weightlifters, analysts, administrators and others. System-specific videos for each of these business functions are available in the enterprise knowledge base.
| We implemented a large-scale project, quite complex due to the fact that it was necessary to correctly transfer a large amount of historical data to the new system, implement a number of atypical mechanisms of work, ensure the performance of a high-load system, and carry out many integrations, - commented on the project Ruslan Razuvaev, head of corporate CorpSoft24 implementations. |
