OPO Oeschger purchased the bullion servers for transfer of ERP

On December 20, 2016 the Atos company announced delivery of the bullion S servers for schedule system of resources of the enterprise (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP) on the SAP HANA platform of OPO Oeschger company.

OPO Oeschger guarantees to customers delivery of all range presented in the directory of the website within 24 hours. Ensuring smooth operation of a system of an inventory control, supply channels and management of the directory, requires the platform working in real time, providing the maximum speed of data processing, scalability and availability.

In the conditions of the growing needs for the computing resources connected with the different advertizing campaigns and frequent updating of the price list at the beginning of 2015 OPO Oeschger made the decision - to transfer crucial applications to the solution for calculation in RAM on the basis of SAP HANA.

In 1991 the company developed the proprietary application working at a basis of computers of Honeywell Bull company. In 2011 the application was moved to SAP R/3 platform on the basis of the NovaScale system.

Project Progress

As the customer has no sufficient experience in data migration questions, the Atos company provided the platform and the necessary technical information within cooperation with Agilita AG company.

Having defined requirements imposed to architecture customer representatives and experts of the contractor in the field of SAP HANA got to collaboration in determination of system configuration for test stages, development and to deployment of the ready-made solution in OPO Oeschger data processing centers.

In addition to a basis of a problem of certification of the bullion S systems in the SAP center in the city of Valdorf, they also visited objects of customer company to help with installation of systems on site.

Thanks to the new SAP HANA systems and our cooperation with Atos company we received the high-performance, scalable and reliable platform which considerably simplifies our work.
