On November 30, 2018 Oryol reference center (ORTs) Rosselkhoznadzor announced that in its Testing laboratory the atomic and issue spectrometer will be soon put into operation Shimadzu ICPE-9820. The equipment will allow the center to define with a high accuracy contents of the big list of chemical elements in food products, sterns for animals, the soil and water.
According to the statement of the producer, spectrometers with the inductive and connected plasma of ICPE-9800 series are distinguished by the friendly software (ICPEsolution) simplifying process of the analysis with their help and also low expenses at operation. ICPE-9820 model provides simultaneous determination more than 60 elements of the table of Mendeleyev including such nonmetals as iodine, phosphorus, sulfur and silicon.
Thanks to double — radial and axial — to the overview of plasma the spectrometer of ICPE-9820 is capable to execute measurements in broad dynamic range — from ppb units to percent. In turn, it allows to carry out the comprehensive analysis at the same time with the broad range of concentration, explained in Shimadzu. Simultaneous registration of all lengths of waves allows to consider influence of a matrix and to automatically select optimal lengths of waves. At the same time exact data of the analysis can be obtained for a short time. Besides, distinctive characteristics of a spectrometer (the ecomode, a minitorch, the vacuumized spectrometer) allow to reduce considerably the current consumption of argon and to half cut down current operating costs, claim in the company.
According to plans of ORTs, on an atomic and issue spectrometer of Shimadzu the staff of Testing laboratory will start carrying out analyses in the first half of the year 2019 while in there is a procedure of expansion of methods of researches.[1]
