On January 23, 2019 InStock Technologies finished implementation of automation of a warehouse of Obninskorgsintez production company.
At the time of the beginning of implementation the Obninskorgsintez company already used WMS of other producer, however was not satisfied with its work therefore the decision on change of supplier of technology was made.
The current WMS did not cope with processing of large volumes of products as processes in it were built is very standardized. Many processes were executed on paper technology as in the automated option they significantly slowed down the speed of transactions.
When replacing WMS it was required to reduce as much as possible "paper" processes and influence of a "human" factor. On the one hand, accomplishment of warehouse processes should be most automated and to be controlled a System through radio terminals, on the other hand, it should not reduce the speed of work of a warehouse.
As a result of implementation of InStock WMS the turnover of a warehouse increased - the whole revolution of a warehouse takes two weeks, and together with it daily filling of a warehouse is 95%.
Further performance improvement and a goods turnover of a warehouse was possible due to optimization and load distribution on a warehouse within a day and increases in motivation of employees of a warehouse.
Implementation of the Module InStock Yard allowed to organize planned arrival of transport in an unloading/loading zone thanks to what works in this zone were optimized.
For motivation of staff of Obninskorgsintez company, the module InStock Productivity was implemented. This module considers different types of activity of employees of a warehouse and charges points, depending on the number of points the payroll to the employees is accrued. Advantages of a system of motivation:
- transparency – each employee understands what there is his salary of and as it is possible to increase it.
- objectivity – for more difficult tasks higher compensation.
- individual responsibility - each employee understands the salary and is motivated it to increase.
