Office Depot passed to SaaS platform Teradata IntelliCloud

On September 28, 2018 it became known that Office Depot passed on SaaS- the platform Teradata IntelliCloud for analytics in cloud the environment. This solution will daily process over 800,000 client requests. Migration in a cloud environment will allow Office Depot to increase performance, to accelerate receiving analytical estimates and to reduce costs.

Task of Office Depot company – to use a public cloud as an economic and scalable solution for management of difficult tasks of processing and data analysis. Thanks to the Teradata Everywhere application on deployment of an analytical ecosystem from any place, Office Depot could select the most optimal for herself option of a cloud environment. In particular, the company could select terms of the beginning and implementation of migration and also the period of support of the existing local infrastructure. Easy integration of Teradata IntelliCloud with already existing IT infrastructure provided seamless transition to a cloud and reduced risks.

We selected a cloud platform for processing and data analysis to expand scaling options, to accelerate performance and to reduce costs.
