The Olympic Stadium automated document flow based on "THESIS"

The sport center is Olympic, one of the largest and most known sports and spectacular centers in the country, carried out workflow automation based on a document management system and tasks of TEZIS.

The Olympic Stadium is the unique multifunction sports and spectacular object of Russia which by right is considered as a sight of Moscow. "Olympic" consists of two main buildings – stadium and the swimming pool. The complex was built specially to the XXII Olympic Games of 1980 in Moscow. From the moment of construction to this day Olympic remains the biggest covered sports construction in the territory of Europe, and at the time of opening to it was not equal in the world.

The management of sport center got acquainted with opportunities of modern electronic document management at the end of 2014 then the decision on the choice and implementation of an automated system for work with documents was made.

Scales of activity of Olympic Stadium mean a large number of users of a system and various processes of work with documents. For example, in sport center there are business processes which involve in themselves up to 150 participants.

Therefore the scalability and also a possibility of independent adaptation of a system to specifics of internal document flow became the main requirements of the management of the organization to future system.

After short comparison of the solutions presented at the market, the management of Olympic Stadium stopped the choice on a document management system and tasks of TEZIS from Haulmont company.

The EDMS THESIS implementation project at Olympic Stadium started in June, 2015, and in September in the organization the test server with expanded edition of the THESIS system was installed.

Specialists of Haulmont company provided training of staff of IT department of Olympic Stadium in work with Cuba Studio - web studio of development for the CUBA platform at which EDMS THESIS is under construction. After that regular IT specialists of sport center had an opportunity to independently develop a system according to specifics of business processes of the organization.

After obtaining positive result according to the results of system testing in November, 2015 the agreement on industrial implementation EDMS THESIS was signed and a system was put into commercial operation.

Besides, the gateway for integration with the accounting system and the VIP-license for the project manager giving the guaranteed opportunity for work from any device - stationary or mobile was purchased.

In March, 2016 the decision on scaling of a system since the circle of the tasks solved with pomochyyu EDMS constantly extends was made, and new employees are involved in processes all.
