Rostec will construct the oncological center in Sevastopol for 4 billion rubles

On September 10, 2020, it became known that Rostec would build an oncological center in Sevastopol for 4 billion rubles. The local capital construction directorate has concluded a corresponding agreement with the structure of the state corporation - RT-SotsStroy. The project is being implemented under the federal target program for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The oncology dispensary will be designed for 150 beds of round-the-clock stay, 30 beds of a day hospital and 100 visits per shift. In a four-story building with an area of ​ ​ over 33 thousand square meters, it is planned to place departments of diagnostics, general oncology, radiation therapy, outpatient chemotherapy, computer and magnetic resonance imaging rooms. The start of construction should take place before the end of 2020.

Earlier it was reported that the company that was supposed to build the cancer center in Sevastopol was the Moscow construction company Saturn. However, the construction did not begin, it was necessary to deal with the courts. Ex-Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov tried to find a single contractor for the construction of a medical cluster.

According to the authorities of Sevastopol, the company was unable to provide bank guarantees for further cooperation. In January 2020, it was decided to identify RT-SotsStroy LLC as the only contractor for three facilities in the region.

All last year we were in courts with a contractor who won the competition under the 44th federal law, but did not start building a cancer center, "said Acting Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

According to him, RT-SotsStroy is starting the construction of an emergency hospital on the site of a medical cluster, it can also become a contractor for the third facility to be built on this site - a new building of an infectious diseases hospital. ^[1]]
