Alpha Capital changes the IP telephony system

The Communication Service of Telecommunication company executed the project for UK "Alpha Capital" on upgrade of a telephone network by replacement of outdated stations by OpenScape Voice, the press service of integrator reported on August 3, 2013.

Readiness of the project

Together with the requirement of reliability augmentation of telecommunication network, in UK there was a question of upgrade of a system as as telephone exchange 2 HiPath 3000 stations were used.

Voroshilov Timur, the head of IT department of UK "Alpha Capital", told: "The main objective of the project was to replace outdated stations which created numerous problems at operation, to minimize risks and to pass to the IP telephony. The decision to replace stations with OpenScape Voice and to execute the solution on virtual machines was for this purpose made. The Communication Service of Telecommunication company having necessary competence and experience of carrying out similar projects on upgrade of a telephone network became the partner in the project".

Olga Surkova, the project manager of SST company emphasized: "On project completion the customer received the reliable modern telephone infrastructure allowing to work effectively without being distracted by fault recovery. Besides, we gave to the client an opportunity to exempt the employees from non-core work and undertook remote administration of the created infrastructure".
