Softline took part in upgrade of DPC in Progress rocket and space center

2020: Upgrade of DPC

On April 17, 2020 the Softline company announced a successful completion of creation of an engineering complex within the project on deep upgrade of the date-centrovraketno-space center "Progress".

JSC Raketno-kosmichesky center Progress – one of leading enterprises of the Russian space-rocket industry which central platform is located in Samara. In communication became the growing needs for information resources and increase in information flows, capacities of the operating DPC insufficiently that led to decision-making on its deep upgrade. The Softline company became one of partners in project implementation based on the competitive procedure.

Experts of Softline were engaged in design and construction of engineering infrastructure of DPC: structured cabling system, network infrastructure, monitoring systems, video surveillance, automatic gas outlet and fire extinguishing, ventilation and water supply system. The most part of IT infrastructure was constructed based on the equipment of Huawei company.

The project was difficult and interesting to a command of Softline. It was important to meet rather strict requirements to the level of equipment of DPC imposed by the customer and the existing GOST. As a result we managed to implement the project qualitatively and in a short time – in four months, and for April, 2020 the customer is busy with planned migration on the created platforms, told the manager with large corporate clients of Softline group in Volga federal district Kondrashov Semyon

The project on construction of additional DPCs became one of key for Progress rocket and space center in 2019. We are happy with work of a command of Softline which specialists showed the high level of examination and ability quickly to resolve the arising working issues. As a result we received the upgraded DPC with modern engineering infrastructure. Information resources of the created data center allow to provide the high level of implementation not only the existing projects, but also to implement the perspective projects delivered before the organization for the next five-seven years added the head of department of information technologies of JSC Raketno-kosmichesky center Progress Alexander Filatov
