Pharmstandard started a corporate portal based on Microsoft SharePoint 2016

On August 23, 2017 the Consist Business Group company announced project completion on development and start of a corporate portal of Pharmstandard company on the Microsoft SharePoint 2016 platform.

Project Tasks

Cumulative production capacities of Pharmstandard allow to produce more than 1.7 billion packagings of medicines a year. Production capacities of group provide 6 plants on production of medicines: Pharmstandard-Leksredstva (Kursk), Pharmstandard-UFAVITA (Ufa), Pharmstandard-Tomskhimfarm (Tomsk), LEKKO (The Vladimir region, the settlement of Volginsky), Biomed of I.I. Mechnikov (Moscow region), Pharmapark (Moscow). Pharmstandard (Moscow) conducts procurement and supply of raw materials for further production of pharmaceutical products at the plants which are a part of group.

The portal is designed to become unified information environment for building of internal communications. Using the modern solution the company is going to optimize joint work of employees, to strengthen command spirit and to reduce time for adaptation of beginners.

Choice of solutions

As the platform for a corporate portal the Pharmstandard company selected the product Microsoft SharePoint 2016. This version of a system includes all last practices implemented in SharePoint Online and also gives ability to integrate with current versions of other products of Microsoft. In the project service solutions of Consist Business Group TOPS Future Workspace were used. Application ready a component during the project allowed "prototipirovat" quickly a system and start debugging of mechanisms of integration with the adjacent systems.

Project Progress

Special attention when developing the portal was paid to availability of all main working tools. For example, the end-to-end control panel contains labels of all internal systems of the company – to go to them is necessary one cliques from the portal. As a result of joint development of participants of a project team for such labels counters of notifications from the corresponding system are added (quantity of new tasks, letters, documents, etc.) that allows the employee to estimate quickly the volume of its next activities, being on any page of the portal. On the homepage and nodes of divisions the calendar of the employee displaying information on events from the personal calendar in Microsoft Exchange is added.

Results of start of the portal

The new corporate portal became not only uniform access point to corporate resources, but also the convenient working tool for our employees which allows to plan the working day, comfortably and quickly to solve routine problems of organizational activity. The corporate portal helps to solve an important problem in the field of building of business processes and internal communications — Antonina Melnichenko, the deputy CEO of Pharmstandard for development and control of key business processes summed up the project results.

The portal consolidates the information about employees (contacts, a presence status) and divisions, allows to turn into one click to viewing a profile of the colleague, to call it or to send the letter. Among services, popular among the staff of Pharmstandard: registration of tasks and addresses, requests for issue of personnel and financial references, news of group and pharmaceutical market.

On a response of the customer, it is convenient to work with the portal, using any devices: stationary PCs and notebooks, tablets and phones. Pages of the portal and the menu adapt under the current screen width of the device, saving convenience of using of all functional elements. In general the portal is expected simultaneous operation of 2000 users.

This year we are going to expand integration of the portal with corporate BPM- and ECM systems. Development of new services is in parallel conducted. So, in plans — development of the websites of divisions and gradual scaling of the portal on other companies of group — Dmitry Rodin, the manager on administration of corporate information resources noted Pharmstandard.
