"1C-Rarus: Plant of a power supply" it is implemented in the Novosibirsk Plant of power supply

The 1C-Rarus company automated technology and management processes of the Novosibirsk Plant of power supply which is engaged in catering services at 60 schools of Novosibirsk. The system created on the basis of 1C:Enterprise 8 helped to organize operating control behind all technology transactions and merchandising, including receipt of products on the central warehouse, their transfer to production, movement between divisions and shipment to schools. The losses connected with uncontrollable write-off of raw materials and finished goods are excluded. Production costs are reduced by 30%. Twice the volume of daily document flow decreased. Formation of the menu is accelerated, the technology of preparation of dishes in school plants of a power supply is accurately observed, strict control of quality and expiration dates of raw materials and finished goods is provided.

Municipal autonomous authority "Plant of a Power Supply" is engaged in catering services at 60 schools of Novosibirsk and also delivers products and semi-finished products in kindergartens, hospitals, canteens of the state enterprises, has own retail store of cookery, two dining rooms and cafe.

In 2015 the management of MAU "Plant of a Power Supply" developed the development plan for the enterprise, one of the priority directions of which was a quality improvement of a power supply and service of pupils in school cafeterias.

For effective implementation of the planned actions the plant's management decided to transfer work of divisions from separate software products on a new information system which would allow:

• increase the level of technology control by production of food
• strengthen control of quality and expiration dates of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods
• optimize assortment management of school cafeterias
• toughen control of purchase prices and margins on products in school cafeterias
• organize operational vendor interaction and school plants of a power supply
• get rid of repeated manual entry of documents in a system and exclude errors in accounting

The Novosibirsk branch "1C-Rarus" became the partner in implementation. For achievement of assigned tasks it was decided to implement and adapt for requirements of the enterprise a system "1C-Rarus: Plant of a power supply", developed on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

During 2015 a system was unrolled in 20 workplaces. Today in a system the technologist, accountants and also employees of a warehouse and food workshops of the enterprise, school plants of a power supply and also own dining rooms, cafe and shop of cookery work.

Key project deliverables

• A system integrated work of all divisions participating in catering services of school students. The normative and help base of the enterprise is unified. Data from "1C-Rarus: Plant of a power supply" are integrated with the adjacent information systems which are used in the organization. Operational processing more than 1000 documents a day - requests and documents for receipt and movement of raw materials and finished goods, documents for shipment and production, compoundings of production of products and semi-finished products, the menu, inventory reports and acts of fixing of retail sales is provided. Employees got rid of double entry of data, documents are not duplicated, the volume of daily document flow of the enterprise decreased twice.
• Strict control of expiration dates and product quality is organized. A system does not allow to ship or pass expired products to production. At shipment to production workshops products with an optimal expiration date are selected, goods do not lie too long in a warehouse, school students receive the dishes prepared only from fresh products. In delivery notes on movement information with number and date of quality certificates of products is automatically entered. All users of a system can look at certificates which are automatically attached to the created documents for movement or a holiday of products on the party.
• Control of consumption of raw materials and materials is strengthened. Operating control behind all technology transactions and merchandising, including receipt of products on the central warehouse, their transfer to production, movement between divisions and shipment to schools is organized. The technical process charts describing technology of preparation of products and regulation of a tab of products are entered. Raw materials are used strictly according to standards now, the financial losses connected with uncontrollable write-off of products are excluded.
• There was an opportunity to make daily menus and to create calculation cards for dishes and semi-finished products with indication of consumption rates, including taking into account hot/cold processing and seasonal adjustment, and accounting of chemical and power characteristics. Each point in cost value of dishes is reasoned, unreasonable margins are excluded. Additional calculations for profitability of positions of the menu for optimization of the range in buffets of school cafeterias are added. Besides, if it was necessary to create the menu in spreadsheets earlier and to send it to schools for data transfer in local accounting programs, then now loading of the menu in information bases of schools is executed by clicking of one button, it can be printed and placed in general access at once.
• The department of the municipal order of Head department of formation of the mayor's office of Novosibirsk sets ceiling prices for main products of a power supply taking into account delivery and packing. A system allows to control and not to exceed the maximum admissible prices of purchase and a margin of products. It helps Plant of power supply to avoid violations of the law and penalties.
• There was an opportunity to quickly control and analyze indicators of activity of the enterprise. In a system sales statements at schools with detailing by types of goods and payment methods - cash and non-cash automatically form. Assessment of demand allows to plan more rationally purchases and to optimize the menu. Control of all stages of work of Plant of power supply is strengthened, unprofitable sales are excluded. Costs of production are reduced by 30%.
